Core Documentation

Your current USA Passport

  • Must include a minimum of 2 blank visa pages
  • Should have at least 6 months’ validity for single-entry visas
  • Must possess at least 12 months’ validity for a 10-year visa

Verification of Residence

  • Copy of a state-issued driver’s license
  • or a state-issued resident I.D. (copy)
  • or a recent Utility Bill / Bank Statement (copy)

Visa Photograph

  • A digital photo is required to initiate your Visa Application.
  • Please refer to our Chinese Visa Photo Guide for requirements.
  • Photograph should be taken within the last 6 months.
  • Select North America, locate the United States, and choose Washington D.C.
  • Don’t forget to save your application ID.
  • Complete the form as thoroughly as possible! Our team at Oasis will review and guide you through any necessary adjustments.
  • Do not submit until Oasis has completed the review and given you instructions.

Letter of Invitation for Business

To be issued by a Chinese entity, the letter should include:

  • Applicant information – full name, gender, passport details, etc.
  • Details regarding the visit – purpose, arrival and departure dates, destinations, connection with the inviting party, and funding sources for expenses.
  • Details of the inviting party – name, contact number, address, official seal, and signature of authorized individual.

Additional Documentation

The documents listed below are not included on the Embassy’s official website, yet they may be required in specific situations. We may recommend applicants prepare these items in advance to facilitate the process. Note that actual processing times can vary based on individual circumstances.

  • U.S Naturalization Certificate
  • Green Card for applications of non-U.S. citizens.
  • Employer’s letter of verification
  • Passports of any previous or other nationalities
  • Previous Chinese Visa/ Chinese residence permit records

Estimated Costs

Our typical charge for processing a business visa application is $295, in addition to the Chinese Embassy’s Visa Application Fee of $140 for U.S. citizens. Included is 2nd-day FedEx shipping with tracking, require a Direct Signature, and insured up to $500.

For expedited processing, we aim to complete your application as quickly as possible, with a service fee of $400, plus an Embassy Fee of $165 (for U.S. citizens), and priority overnight FedEx shipping for $51.35.

Passport Turn-around Time

After submitting your application to the Chinese Embassy, the usual processing period is 4-5 business days. Be advised that additional time is necessary for reviewing, preparing, and shipping your application before submission. We suggest initiating the process 3-4 weeks prior to your intended travel dates.

For expedited processing, our objective is to secure your visa in the fastest time feasible, usually within 3-5 business days, excluding shipping.
