Notice on the Abolition of Consular Authentication Services by The Chinese Embassy and Consulates-General in the U.S. 

On March 8, 2023, China joined the 1961 Hague Convention, simplifying the process for using foreign public documents. Starting November 7, 2023, the agreement between China and the U.S. will take effect, including Hong Kong and Macao. From that date, U.S. documents sent to mainland China will only need a U.S. apostille, eliminating the need for consular authentication from both countries. As a result, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates in the U.S. will stop offering consular authentication services, and U.S. documents should be apostilled by U.S. authorities for use in China.

However, returning customers can receive limited guidance to assist with completing their own apostille process. This support is exclusive to clients who have previously used our services.
